Encouraged

"Do not be discouraged by the difficulty of keeping your focus on Me. 

I know that your heart's desire is to be aware of My Presence continually. 

This is a lofty goal; you aim toward it but never fully achieve it in this life. 

Don't let feelings of failure wiegh you down. 

Instead, try to see yourself as I see you. 

First of all, I am delighted by your deep desire to walk closely with Me through your life. 

I am pleased each time you initiate communication with Me. 

I notice the progress you have made since you first resolved to live in My Presence. 

When you realize that your mind has wandared away from Me, 

dont be alarmed or surpresd. 

You live in a world that has been rigged to distract you. 

Each time you plow your way throgh the massive distraction to commincate with Me, 

you achieve a victory. 

Rejoice in these tiny triumps, and they will increasingly light up your days."

 Who dares accuse us whom God has chosen for his own? No one—for God himself has given us right standing with himself. Who then will condemn us? No one—for Christ Jesus died for us and was raised to life for us, and he is sitting in the place of honor at God’s right hand, pleading for us. 

(Romans 8: 33-34) 

 So then, since we have a great High Priest who has entered heaven, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold firmly to what we believe. 15 This High Priest of ours understands our weaknesses, for he faced all of the same testings we do, yet he did not sin. 16 So let us come boldly to the throne of our gracious God. There we will receive his mercy, and we will find grace to help us when we need it most.
